Choc Strawberry Raw Tartlets GF R V SF

To celebrate my mum's birthday this week I felt like making some little cakes. 
It was also my first time making these! 

Vegan Gluten Free Clean Raw Tarlets:

Raw Chocolate & Strawberry Tartlets - makes 6
1 cup of pitted dates
1 cup of raw almonds
1 tbsp of coconut oil

2 ripe bananas
1/2 tbsp cacao powder
1 tsbp chia seeds

Toppings: Fruit/Coconut/Pistachios

1. Mix dates and almonds in food processor
2. Press into greased cake tins
3. Mix bananas and cacao powder in food processor
4. Pour on top of crusts
5. Add toppings
6. Leave in the freezer for 6 hours and take out of the freezer and put into fridge 1 hour before serving.

First Post | Orange & Almond Cake

First Post... Probably not the best but everyone has to start somewhere. I will tell you about myself a bit more later on. Posting a cake I made last night coming home from work on a stormy night in Perth. It is gluten free, vegan, dairy free and processed sugar free... BUT it is still super delicious! 
I probably should have left it 5-10 more minutes in the oven but I was just too excited! 

Ingredients| Orange & Almond Cake
  • 2 cups of almond meal
  • 2 oranges
  • 5 tsp of stevia
  • vanilla powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp of baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp of bi-carbonate of soda
  • coconut flakes to sprinkle on top

1. Wash oranges and put to boil in cold water for 45-60 min
2. Mix dry ingredients
3. Preheat oven at 180 degrees celsius - grease cake mould (any shape would do) ( I do this while waiting for the oranges...)
4. Once oranges are very soft start chopping them and put through food processor until it is a puree
5. Mix oranges and dry ingredients and put into cake pan
6. Cook in oven for 45 min

Enjoy... this is very healthy and perfect for a cold winter day with the added dose of vitamin C from the oranges. - taste like the ones in the shop - even my husband said so!
